As the name suggests, edgeone, as a heavily promoted edge CDN product by Tencent Cloud, follows the principle of using it for free whenever possible. We started trying to use edgeone to accelerate xlog.app since the speed of accessing xlog.app in China is not very fast.
The principle is to set a custom domain for xlog.app and then accelerate it in edgeone. Let's get started:
Open the backend settings of our xlog.app to add a domain name.
Next, we go to our domain management backend to add domain resolution. Add 2 records, with the content as shown in the image above,
CNAME x cname.xlog.app
TXT _xlog-challenge.x ele
Be sure to change it to your own and not mine; this is mine.
After that, we need to wait a moment. We need to click check to see if the domain is set up successfully. If the check passes, we click save. Then authorization will appear, and we just need to confirm it.
Try entering our custom domain x.qq.com
to see if we can open our blog. If it opens, continue to the next step. Otherwise, wait a moment and try to open it again; you can only proceed to the next step after it opens.
Then, open our edgeone to add a site. Here I will "skip directly."
We start adding a domain name. For example, I want to accelerate access to our previous custom domain x.qq.com
by visiting x.qbar.com
. Follow the image for operation:
For the recommended template, we choose website acceleration.
Click confirm, wait a moment, and then you can accelerate access by visiting x.qbar.com
.
To verify if it is effective, directly check if the response header information contains eo-cache-status. If it does, it means the acceleration has taken effect.
Preferred IP is not recommended; of course, if you are not afraid, please Google for the corresponding tutorial.
